In February 2021, amidst the vibrant yet demanding life of the Bay Area, California, two souls found each other in the most modern way—on the dating app Hinge. What started as a modern swipe soon blossomed into something far more meaningful.

From our very first conversation, there was an undeniable spark between us. We laughed, shared our dreams, and discovered how much we had in common.

As the days turned into weeks, and weeks into months, our bond grew stronger. We found ourselves spending every available moment together, exploring the Bay Area, cooking new dishes, and trying new restaurants. We cherished our common heritage and values. We learned to embrace our unique traits and perspectives that made us different but complementary. And we learned to prioritize each other despite busy careers in tech and medicine.

Our bond only grew stronger, and before we knew it, we had got engaged, embraced long distance between Miami and SF, and traveled to 10 different countries, each journey adding another layer to our story. Every adventure, however big or small, brought us closer, and every moment together was a reminder of how blessed we are to have found each other.

And so, after countless memories, endless laughter, innumerable nicknames for each other, and shared experiences, we made the easiest decision of our lives: to spend forever together.
